Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
Salmon Fillets: 2 pieces (about 300g–400g total)
Lemon: 1 whole (half sliced, half for fresh juice)
Garlic: 4–5 cloves (minced)
Butter: 1.5–2 tbsp
Olive Oil: 1 tbsp
Salt & Black Pepper: To taste
Fresh Dill (or Parsley): Finely chopped, for garnish
Cooking Procedure
Prep the Salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crisp, golden sear.
Season both sides generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Pan-Sear to Perfection:
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add the salmon fillets skin-side or flesh-side down first. Sear for 3–4 minutes until golden-brown and crisp, then gently flip.
Make the Garlic Lemon Sauce:
Lower the heat and add the butter and minced garlic into the skillet alongside the salmon.
As the butter melts, spoon the infused garlic butter over the tops of the salmon fillets.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the pan and add the lemon slices around the fish.
Finish & Serve:
Allow the salmon to cook through in the simmering garlic-lemon sauce for another 2–3 minutes.
Sprinkle finely chopped dill over the top right before taking it off the heat. Serve hot with extra lemon wedges!
